I am not sure if it was due to being shut down from covid and trying to get in the swing of things but sadly we experienced a bad meal. I ordered the chile verde plate and the meat tasted as if it was reheated and potentially left overs. It was far from fresh. The chile had zero flavor and zero spice and was soggy. Just not good. I have never had chile Verde that bad before. The service was also not the best which isn't what we have experienced here before. We had to ask multiple times for things. So sadly, I can't give a good review

Friendly service, good food, reasonable portions and prices. Worth a visit if you enjoy Mexican cuisine.

Average price. Ordered standard tacos with rice and beans. The meal started out bad as the chips were burned. Salsa was good. Then, the rest of the meal was burned. Taco shells, beans and rice-burnt. Appetizer was average-sauteed mushrooms in garlic with sliced avocado, store bought tortillas on the side. Colorful dining room!

The portions are HUGE!! The seafood burrito is great even though I was reluctant on trying anything seafood in Northern AZ, but it was great. Authentic rice and beans like Nana would make.

This was very good, I'll eat here again, if you haven't you should, it's good. Hey, price to plate is good too!

Always enjoy their food and service!!

We noticed the floor was dirty as soon as we walked in. The women's bathroom stalls were both stopped up and the hostesses not hesitate for a moment to find someone to fix it or give me or the other 3 women waiting, a plunger. We were treated like cattle in a barn. Cursory service without a smile. Food was unremarkable. Not worthy of a good recommendation.

The food was incredible, yet the service could have been more friendly. I Will most likely return, however; not going to suggest to others for future nights out.

Always friendly, efficient service. The food is consistently the best Mexican food on the mountain. Always make this restaurant your first choice.

Food was delicious - among the very best we've had in Pinetop. It was a bit of a wait to get in, but that just tells you how good it is, right? Good service. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but again, worth the effort.

We had the steak, chicken, shrimp with mushroom dinner for two. Very large portion of food. Tasty garnishes and guacamole. Polite and attentive service Marvelous decor.

Had the chile colorado and it was delicious. They have 3 different levels of spiciness on their salsas and each one is delicious. Great kids meals, lunch specials and happy hour. We really like los corrales and come here often!

I've had Los Corrales a few times in the past and always thought it was pretty good, but my most recent visit has cause me to call into question my own memories of it. I remembered the food being much better. Everything I ate just seemed to fall flat this time around. The chips had a strange flavor to them that made me think of old fry oil. Because of the that the salsa was also kinda hard to enjoy. That alone wouldn't have bothered me too much but then my food came out with bland watery enchilada sauce. It genuinely tasted and looked like they had started to run low on sauce so they added water to make it last longer. That covered all my food so it was difficult to get a solid opinion of the rest of it but the chicken was not exactly standing out, it was nearly flavorless. The food wasn't so bad I'd send it back or anything, just not the quality I expected; It seemed more in line with what you'd expect from fast food, not a (considerably more expensive) sit down restaurant.

Wow great place! Oh so reasonable prices, big portions, good service. And.....the food tasted good. Great recommendation and will without a doubt pass along the word and make a return trip.

The food is decent. But the staff is slow. Had to wait for forks after the food was served. Wait for salsa. Never asked is we wanted a refill on beer.

Before the “lockdown” we have always had great service and delicious food. During this stay in place order, we have received the same excellent food, only for take out.I love the Margaritas! A part of me hopes that they continue to do to go margaritas! It would make this mamas day.

Seated with appropriate social distancing then a party of 6 got seated immediately next to us, all four screaming children and coughing everywhere.Chili con queso not as described. Full of pickled jalapenos. Not the end of the world, but the inaccurate description is really irritating.Carnitas tender, but also mostly fat. I ate here in November but I had to rush out. I don't remember what I are but I was super excited to come back. Now I regret the decision.

I'm a local and always a fan. Miguel always remembers us when we come in, and even notices if its been a while since the last time. Feels good to be noticed and remembered, not to mention him always being friendly and polite. The food is good, just remember to pace yourself on the chips and salsa or you'll be taking that entree to go!

Disappointing experience. Food was greasy and bland, chips were cold and tasted like they were fried in old grease.

This place was very dirty it looked like there was blood smeared on the wall. My sister and i both got a piece of hair in out food. The silverware was dirty, it looked like there was food still on them. The food wasnt very good. I will not be returning.

This is our favorite place to eat when we are in Pinetop/Lakeside. Everyone is always friendly and the service is quick and responsive to our requests. Besides great food the margaritas are the best and we love our dessert watermelon shots!

This restaurant gets a lot of great reviews so we tried it. It was okay. They were busy and the service was very slow. The busboy/helper was more attentive then our actual server. Food was okay as well. Nothing to go crazy over. There are a couple other Mexican restaurant in the area and would try them before going back but would go back.

The food was OUTSTANDING, my husband and I love Hispanic food. And this was some of the best we have ever had. If you are not in the mood for that, they have other options as well. The service was fast and efficient even though they were filled to capacity. Envious of those who live here, but Los Corrales will definitely be on my places to stop any time we come through.

Los is my favorite spot to celebrate my birthday every year. They know ya by name. Great service and the BEST margaritas you could buy. Love this place.

This is probably our favorite restaurant in Pinetop-Lakeside. The food is great and the servings are large. The restaurant can get crowded though. There is often about a 20 to 30 min. wait.

Our go to restaurant in Pinetop! You will not be disappointed, this place have the best hommade Mexican food you can find and incredibly it's in the White Mountains! Be careful, they will load you up on chips and salsa, one of the few places that hasn't turned this Mexican food restaurant tradition into an appetizer thanks is charged for. If you like Margaritas,I can't recommend enough the watermelon margarita, it is loaded, you only need one to be feeling less sore and more relaxed after Long day on the snow!

The place is small. Intimate. But if you like Mexican food, you will love this place! Plus the sevice is rapid. I highly recommend Los Corrales. You won't be disappointed!

No better place in Pinetop. Staff excellent, food excellent, good size portions. Try if you like Mexican food then this is the only place to go in Pinetop and the surrounding area.

Great food, good service. The bartender was amazing and our server very kind and friendly.Worth every penny.

The only thing good was the drinks. The red chili tasted like watered down tomato soup and the green looked like it was thrown in a blender, flavored with too much cilantro and thrown on plate. It didn't look appetizing (think baby poop) and tasted even worse. The rice had every veggie in the world in it which I'm not a fan of and wasn't properly cooked nor did it have a good flavor. And there are onions in everything, don't bother asking for no onions because you'll get them anyway. To top it all off, our waiter acted like it was a chore to serve us.

Always consistent dining. Great service, large plates, and most authentic on the mountain. A must try!

The food was very bland and the fried tilapia was over cooked and black on the outside. I tried the white creamy chicken enchilada and I have no idea what was in it because it had no flavor. Very disappointing.

Food is always amazing, bar tender, Miguel, makes AWESOME drinks, and good pricing for what you get!! Family owned and the best Mexican food I’ve had in AZ!!! Even the customers/regulars are great!!! We’ve been here three times in two weeks and will keep coming back. Love it!!!

Yes, the food is very authentic. The taste is too die for. This is coming from my tata, who has eaten at lots of mexican restaurants before.

Los Corrales is very busy and rightly so. From the friendly hostess and serving staff the the excellent traditional dishes it was great. On my Carne Tampiquena the shrimp was tender and spicy while the beef was cooked perfectly and the bacon was wonderfully crisp. The portion was huge and made for a full second meal the next day. The dining area is a little cramped but acceptable knowing how busy they are.
